Nitika Singh

Nitika is head of the Housing Management team that is listed in both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners for its social housing work. 

Experience

Nitika has built up an impressive caseload advising and representing local authorities, housing providers and private clients.

Nitika deals with a broad range of matters to include, but not limited to, possession proceedings, nuisance and anti-social behaviour, injunctive proceedings, fraud cases, disrepair claims as well as service charge counterclaims brought against landlords and various other housing management issues.

Nitika also undertakes drafting of policies and tenancy agreements for clients.

Nitika has developed a loyal following of clients based on the results her team deliver combined with the good rapport she has with them.

Nitika is valued for her great attention to detail and her technical abilities. Nitika prides herself on understanding her client’s needs well and delivering a  committed service to her clients that represents good value for money.

Nitika also regularly delivers training seminars to clients on various housing related topics.

Recent Highlights

Nitika recently acted for a landlord on a complex possession claim.

Nitika also successfully secured an injunction when she acted for a housing group.

Nitika also acts as a mentor on the Law Society’s National Social Mobility and Diversity Access scheme. This year’s scheme is to support career progression for solicitors from under –represented groups.

Nitika has been an advisor at Waterloo Legal Advice Centre and is a member of the Bromley & District Law Society and the Social Housing Law Association.

Nitika enjoys reading and swimming.
