Roshonara Uddin

Roshonara joined Judge & Priestley in September 2022 and is the Partner leading the Residential Conveyancing team at our Blackheath office.

Experience

With over 20 years of experience in residential property law, Roshonara specialises in high-value transactions including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, new builds, shared ownership and right to buy matters. She qualified as a solicitor in January 2001 and previously worked at respected firms in the City and East London.

Since joining J&P, Roshonara has been instrumental in growing the Blackheath team and fostering strong client relationships. Shortly after arriving, she successfully managed a particularly complex transaction involving the sale of 10 residential units, a re-mortgage, and a simultaneous purchase connected to a matrimonial consent order. Despite last-minute complications and multi-party pressures, she remained composed and focused—securing completion and the client’s trust. As a result, she went on to act for several of the client’s family members and colleagues.

Roshonara is known for her pragmatic, calm and responsive approach. Clients consistently describe her as efficient, attentive and reassuring—qualities that have helped her build long-term relationships and deliver consistently high standards of service.

Education

Roshonara graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.

Roshonara enjoys socialising with family and friends.
