Louise Hyland

Louise is a Partner in the Residential Property team. Louise leads the Residential Property Team at the Beckenham office, regularly receives glowing recommendations from her clients, and is a UK top-rated solicitor on VouchedFor as a result of her positive client reviews.

Experience

Louise works in the Residential Property department and can assist with all aspects of freehold and leasehold conveyancing, pre-auction advice and review of Legal Packs, remortgages, transfer of equity transactions, adverse possession claims and lease extensions by agreement, acting for both lessees and landlords.

Following completion of the LPC, Louise worked briefly as a Paralegal in civil litigation, before joining Judge & Priestley in September 2010, as a Paralegal within the Residential Property department. Louise was made a Trainee Solicitor in July 2011, and qualified as a Solicitor in May 2013. Louise was promoted to Associate in May 2016, and was then made a Partner of the firm in May 2018.

Recent Highlights

Successful claims for numerous adjoining property owners, to acquire title to land to the rear of their respective properties by adverse possession.

Louise has taken part in the London Legal Walk with the Judge and Priestley team several times, raising money for the London Legal Support Trust.

Outside of Work

Louise enjoys winding down after a busy day, eating out and socialising with friends and family. Louise also enjoys keeping active by walking her dog, Hugo, and attending the gym, and is never afraid to try a new exercise class or challenge.

Louise has completed the Race for Life several times, raising money for Cancer Research UK.
