Another successful year for Judge & Priestley in the Legal 500 UK Directory

Judge & Priestley’s commitment to quality and high levels of service has been recognised by several independent external bodies recently.

The practice was recently successfully re-accredited with the Investors In People Standard, which confirms our commitment to staff training and development. We are now also pleased to announce that Judge & Priestley’s Housing Management department and debt recovery division, J&P Credit Solutions have been recognised again in The Legal 500’s leading firms directory for 2017.

In the recently announced 2017 results, both teams have successfully retained their Tier 2 position for the South East region in the following categories: Social Housing and Debt Recovery. 

Our Property Litigation and Housing Management teams advise on contentious property matters. The Housing Management team has been successfully acting, predominantly for public and private sector landlords, for over 20 years.

The debt recovery division, J&P Credit Solutions has grown significantly in recent years. The department has an excellent reputation in the industry in key specialist areas including local authority debt recovery, subrogated insurance losses arising from road traffic claims and the utilities sector.

Judge & Priestley partner, Mark Oakley was also recognised as a ‘leading individual’ in the exclusive "Leading lawyers" list, for outstanding lawyers nationwide. Additionally, seven other leading Judge & Priestley practitioners  were  singled out for praise; Rachel Addai, Robert Davis,  Mark Younger, Mark Bailey and Uday Patel in J&P Credit Solutions and Lucy Rudd and Nitika Singh for Social Housing.

Overall, The Legal 500 stated that, J&P Solicitors has ‘a well-deserved reputation for quality of service and approachability’, and the team ‘always acts with foresight, incorporating a deep understanding of the law into its advice’.
