J&P LLP successfully re-accredited for ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials PLUS

Judge& Priestley LLP, the Bromley based solicitors practice, is pleased to announce that over the last few weeks, the business has been independently audited and successfully re-accredited with two important information security standards, Cyber Essentials PLUS and ISO27001, for their IT systems and general data security policies.

Cyber Essentials is the Government backed scheme to encourage businesses of all sizes to protect their IT systems, and digital data, against a whole range of the most common cyber-attacks. To achieve the Cyber Essentials PLUS designation, those systems and processes must be reviewed, and tested, by a government appointed independent assessor.

ISO 27001 is an internationally agreed specification for an information security management system and its framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation's information risk management processes. Once again to achieve accreditation a business must undergo and pass an independent review by a recognised testing body.

Mark Carey, IT Manager at Judge & Priestley commented: “Our accreditations for both ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials PLUS reflect the hard work put into information security by the IT and compliance teams at Judge and Priestley, and underline our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of security for our systems and client confidential data now and in the future.”
