J&P Offices Closed until further notice

Following yesterday’s announcements from the UK government regarding the developing Covid-19 situation,

the senior management team at Judge and Priestley have issued a significant update as to how we are dealing with this unprecedented situation.

Our priorities remains the health and safety of everyone associated with our practice (clients, employees and suppliers), as well as the longer term survival of the business itself. We have, therefore, made the difficult decision to close our offices from today (Tuesday 24/03/2020), to support government advice on maximising social distancing wherever possible.

We have maximised the number of staff that can work from home and would reassure all existing client’s that we have the capacity to minimise the impact on the completion of on-going matters. We would reiterate that your solicitor’s contact details remain the same, your data remains secure, your rights as a client are unaffected and any funds you have with us remain safe.

We would also emphasise that we remain open for new business over the coming weeks, until the situation return to normal. Should you require advice and support with any legal issue, we have specialist solicitors’ dealing with drafting / updating wills, probate, employment, family, property, leasehold and commercial law available to assist you.

This has been an incredibly hard decision to take, but we believe that every individual and business must now take responsibility for assisting the nationwide effort to restrict the spread of the Covid-19 virus, thereby assisting a return to normalcy as quickly as possible.
