England's Housing Market Re-opens

Madelaine Henwood, Head of Residential Property at Judge & Priestley, comments on the news that the housing market in England has been reopened by the government.

“It is great news for buyers and sellers looking to move house, that the Government has effectively announced the re-opening of housing market activities in England, subject to continued social distancing guidelines.

Unlike some local solicitors, the residential property team at Judge & Priestley never closed down, this modern practice having the ability to enable and support all our fee earners to work securely from home, since March.

So if you are looking to get on with a residential property transaction, then don’t hesitate to contact our team, who are actively taking new instructions as you read this update. We are fully operational and ready to assist you with your move just as soon as you are.

Of course, the safety of both our clients and staff is the guiding principle to which we will continue to be conducting operations across J&P. Having worked through the lock down to support our clients, we have ensured that processes are in place which allow us to continue working with safety at the forefront.

We look forward to helping you with your next home move.”
