Megan Porter

Megan joined Judge & Priestley in October 2020 as a paralegal and currently works as a Trainee Solicitor in the Family Department. 

Experience

Megan is a First Class Law LLB (Hons) graduate from the University of Kent, Canterbury. She has also completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London in 2022 achieving a Distinction.

During her time as a paralegal in the family department she gained extensive experience within all areas of family law. As part of her training contract, she has worked in the Housing Management Department at Judge & Priestley assisting Landlords in tenant disputes. She joined the Family Department as a Trainee Solicitor in October 2023 where she runs her own caseload as well as assisting senior solicitors and partners within the team in complex cases.

Outside of Work

Megan is a competitive Irish dancer and has been since she was 8 years old. She has previously represented the University of Kent at three different dance competitions against different Universities from around the UK.

Megan is also keen on fitness and enjoys going to the gym regularly, as well as going for long walks.
