Charlotte joined Judge & Priestley in November 2022, and works as a Solicitor in the Business & Commercial Property Department.

Experience

Originally from North Wales, Charlotte moved to the South East after graduating from the College of Law and undertook her training contract with a South East firm qualifying in 2003. She became a partner at that firm in 2007.

Charlotte specialises in Commercial Property work and acts for several Landlords with the preparation of their leases and undertakes regular lease renewals on their behalf.

Charlotte joined Judge and Priestley in November 2022 and works in the Business and Commercial Property department and has extensive experience in all forms of Business and Commercial Property including:

  • Sale and Purchase of freehold and leasehold land and property
  • Preparation and negotiation of leases
  • Sale and Purchase of businesses with and without property elements
  • Assignments of leases
  • Surrenders of leases
  • Underlettings
  • Rent Deposit Deeds
  • Licences and Consents
  • Complex land transactions
  • Independent Legal Advice for borrowers and guarantors
  • Landlord residential lease extensions 

Outside of Work

Charlotte is a carer for her disabled son and a trustee of Demelza Children’s Hospice, helping them shape the invaluable service that they provide to the families and children with life-limiting illnesses living in South East London, Kent and East Sussex and ensuring that the voice of the families is heard at board level.
