J&P seminar - Managing Service Charge Recoveries.

Judge and Priestley LLP, the Bromley based solicitors, successfully held their latest Service Charges training seminar for public sector clients on Tuesday 21st May 2019. The company are experts in all aspects of leasehold law and support many local authority and other social housing providers, with the management and resolution of service charge issues and disputes.  

The aim of the seminar was to update both existing and potential clients, on best practice in the area of service charge disputes, ADR and litigation, in the light of recent case law and other developments in this complex area of Housing law. The emphasis was on practical tips and advice for those involved in the day to day administration of service charge issues.

The seminar was jointly sponsored by Tanfield Chambers , who were represented at the event by barrister Richard Granby. The speaking line up included J&P partner Mark Oakley, J&P solicitor Josepth Green and Richard himself. The event concluded with a networking lunch, overlooking the River Thames

 

Almost 60 attendees, from more than 20 mostly public sector organisations, attended the event, which was held at the Glaziers Hall in central London. Feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive. One delegate commented; “This was an excellent seminar, with useful and practical guidance”. This was typical of many positive comments received on the day.
