Raheela Copley


Raheela joined Judge & Priestley in August 2021 and works as a Paralegal in the Leasehold Extension and Enfranchisement department.


Raheela completed her LLB at the University of Exeter and went on to graduate from the BPP Law School, where she received her LPC LLM in Legal Practice for Solicitors in 2020.

Raheela is now gaining valuable experience advising clients on statutory and non-statutory lease extension procedures, and acting on their behalf to extend the term of their lease.

Prior to joining J&P Raheela was a legal assistant at Temple Real Estate LLP, where she monitored and maintained property records for the company portfolio and assisted with the drafting of agreements. Thereafter, she commenced an internship at TMP Solicitors LLP – a boutique London firm – and primarily dealt with employment law and commercial related matters.

During her undergraduate degree and as a Pro Bono Society Member, Raheela also volunteered as a legal assistant with the Personal Support Unit (PSU) at the Exeter Combined Court.

Raheela conducted volunteer work abroad in Central America at a legal clinic in a rural community in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, which primarily dealt with residential property and family law matters.

Raheela also has a background in cyber security as a Business Development Analyst at F-Secure Countercept, which involved carrying out threat research and company risk profiling for clients looking to increase their security. She also mapped geopolitical changes and advanced persistent threats with the Threat Intelligence team in order to demonstrate the risks in F-Secure’s clients' IT infrastructure.

Outside of Work

Raheela is an avid baker in her spare time – lemon drizzle cake is her speciality. She also has intermediate level Spanish conversational and writing abilities.
