Lucy Rudd


Lucy works in the Property team, specialising in development land acquisitions and she is listed in the Legal 500 for her property work for private sector clients. Lucy has been a partner since 2014.


Lucy joined Judge & Priestley in 2007 in the Property Department specialising in non-contentious property matters and building a client base of registered social landlords and many other public sector and charitable clients.

Since 2013 Lucy has had an increasing focus on private sector development work and acts on behalf of many local and regional developers, in the acquisition of sites varying from single unit developments to multiple unit sites. Lucy has experience in dealing with all the usual planning and infrastructure agreements that are required in such developments and has also dealt with joint venture agreements.

Lucy continues to work with her public sector clients and is listed in the Legal 500 for her work in social housing development projects.

Recent Highlights

Lucy has recently been involved in a range of development land acquisitions projects, section 106 agreements, options, conditional contracts and disposals and all ancillary matters attached to such property work. She has dealt with several significant mixed use and residential development transactions.

Outside of Work

Lucy’s weekends are usually spent with family and friends enjoying food and walks in the Kent countryside. Lucy also loves holidays, especially skiing holidays.
