Joe Genco

Joe joined Judge & Priestley in June 2025 as a Senior Associate Solicitor in the London Property team.

Experience

Joe trained at a boutique North-West London firm and qualified as a solicitor in July 2015, working in the Property and Leasehold Enfranchisement department. He later joined a central London firm in March 2020 and worked as a Senior Associate in the Residential Real Estate department.

He handles all aspects of residential and commercial property, including acquisitions and disposals, transfers of equity, refinancing and advising on leases and licences, as well as general landlord and tenant matters in relation to the ongoing management of residential and commercial buildings.

Joe also specialises in all aspects of leasehold reform, including acting for both tenants and landlords in connection with lease extensions and collective enfranchisement claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993, claims to acquire freeholds under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 and right to manage claims under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.

Outside of work

Joe enjoys long walks, reading and playing the accordion.
