Caitlin Ward joined Judge & Priestley in September 2025 as a Solicitor in the Housing Management department. She qualified as a Solicitor in August 2024, having previously worked in commercial property, where she gained valuable and extensive experience across a broad range of commercial and residential property matters.

Experience

Caitlin's background includes advising on asset acquisitions, property development, refinancing transactions, residential and commercial conveyancing, and property litigation, including forfeiture claims, service charge disputes, and leasehold management matters. This work has enabled her to develop strong expertise across a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious property matters. 

At Judge & Priestley, Caitlin acts for local authorities in relation to landlord and tenant litigation, advising on a wide range of contentious property issues. Her work includes handling possession proceedings, disrepair claims, and other tenancy-related disputes, which has given her valuable advocacy experience and a solid grounding in court procedure. Caitlin is increasingly involved in more complex matters that engage wider property law principles, enabling her to develop her expertise in contentious property litigation and strengthen her ability to deliver effective outcomes for clients.

Caitlin is committed to providing clear, practical, and results-driven legal advice and places particular emphasis on translating complex legal issues into straightforward, actionable guidance - building long-term client relationships founded on trust, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of client needs.

Outside of work

Caitlin enjoys long-distance running, music production and plant-based cooking.
