Ben Portner

Ben joined Judge & Priestley in June 2025 as a Partner in the London Property team.

Experience

Ben graduated from the University of Leeds in 1999 before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the London College of Law. He then trained at a US law firm in the City and joined a central London firm in 2005 in the Property department.

Ben deals with all aspects of commercial and residential leasehold and freehold property transactions, including the acquisition, letting and sale of shops, offices, development and light industrial sites, as well as advising on lease extensions and collective freehold purchases. He acts for a range of clients, from private individuals and entrepreneurs to property developers and overseas investors.

Outside of work

In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing football, boxing, music, going to the cinema and spending time with his family and friends.
