Bethanie Brown

Bethanie joined Judge & Priestley in September 2021 and works as a Solicitor in the Housing Management Department.

Experience

Bethanie completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice and LLM in Law from Nottingham Trent University and graduated in October 2020 by achieving a Commendation.

Bethanie Graduated in 2016 with a 2.1 Bachelor of Laws degree in Law from the University of Kent.

During her training contract, she dealt with a range of leasehold law matters. Bethanie gained a lot of experience in property litigation, mainly dealing with service charges and ground rent arrears, also handling breach of lease matters beyond non-payment of service charges or ground rent.

Bethanie has also had experience drafting lease extensions that are done by statute and by consent. She has previous experience dealing with landlord and tenant matters and assisted clients with possession claims.

Outside of Work

Bethanie enjoys socialising with her friends and baking in her spare time. She also has taken the time to learn knitting and joined an online book club.
