In response to the issue of fraudulent sub-letting, the Government passed the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud Act 2013 enabling social housing providers to have the power to prosecute social housing tenants who illegally sublet their properties.

Having acted for social housing landlords (both local authorities and housing associations) for over 30 years, we are experienced in dealing with all aspects of tenancy fraud and can advise you on the most effective method of dealing with the immediate issue as well as recovery of the property in question and any financial benefit derived from the wrong-doing.
