Douglas Dos Santos

Douglas joined Judge & Priestley in April 2024 and qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales in April 2025. He works as part of the Credit Solutions Litigation team, specialising in debt recovery matters.

Experience

Douglas is dual-qualified in England and Wales and Brazil, and holds an LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London. Prior to qualifying in the UK, he worked as a Senior Legal Manager in Brazil, where he led a specialist team handling disputes, insolvency and debt recovery claims across Latin America.

At J&P, Douglas focuses on debt recovery and related contentious matters, including enforcement, asset tracing and contentious probate claims. His international background and commercial litigation experience enable him to take a strategic and pragmatic approach to recovering debts, particularly in complex or cross-border cases.

Outside of work

Douglas enjoys swimming, playing football and reading. He also plays the drums in a carnival band.
