Abdul Mueed Kayani

Abdul joined Judge & Priestley in October 2022 and works as a Solicitor in the Private Client Department.

Experience

Abdul advises individuals and families in multiple aspects of Private Client law including, but not limited to, Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Abdul has particular experience in the administration of complex estates, including those with international and cross-border elements.

Abdul is known for his technical proficiency and his detail-oriented yet sensitive approach toward matters and is frequently asked to assist where a higher degree of technical competence and attention to detail is required.

Abdul is a certified Mental Health First Aider, using the skills acquired as part of this certification in the way he approaches clients and colleagues alike.

Abdul graduated with Upper Second Class Honours in Law from the University of Bristol before completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Birmingham.

Outside of Work

Abdul is an avid badminton player, having played competitively at the University level and whilst at school, and currently participates in a county level league.

Abdul sings and plays the guitar with a keen interest in classic rock, blues, and jazz music.
