Junior Accounts Clerk

We are looking for a Junior Accounts Clerk to assist the Finance Department with data posting, banking, office payments and filing in a timely, organised and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data posting on a daily basis.
  • Assist with allocating & posting direct receipts accurately in heavy workflow periods
  • Collate, reconcile & post client and office banking on a daily basis
  • Raise cheques for correctly authorised client and office payments on a daily basis
  • Post court fees from monthly direct debit statement on a daily basis
  • Reconcile Land Registry accounts
  • Posting of matter supplier invoices in a timely manner
  • Providing assistance with posting of counsel fees and office receipts in heavy workflow periods
  • To file bank statements
  • Assist with all tasks within the department in times of sickness, holiday and heavy workflow periods.

Key Requirements

  • High degree of numeracy, liking and aptitude for accounts work.
  • A good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Educated to a GCSE level C or above or equivalent in Mathematics.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Flexible attitude to work timings and duties.
  • Organised, practical and methodical
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and re-schedule as required.

Visualfiles Developer

We are looking for a Visualfiles Developer to maintain and develop our case management system, Visualfiles and to support and assist the VF Team in their delivery of Visualfiles across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake VF development in accordance with the agreed VF schedule of work, completing all elements on time and in budget
  • To co-ordinate and prioritise tasks that have been assigned and to ensure delivery of projects on time and to required standard
  • To undertake administrative maintenance VF work
  • To work with end users to identify and develop solutions to problems as they arise
  • To regularly update the VF Manager with progress of work and any related issues
  • To provide training to end users
  • To research new development methods and investigate changes in relevant IT areas outside of VF
  • To adhere to company standards, policies and procedures at all times
  • To contribute positively to departmental and firm-wide activities
  • To undertake relevant training as required

Key Requirements

  • Relevant IT studies in further or higher education would be an advantage
  • Experience (3+ years) of VF development
  • Must be familiar with all aspects of VF scripting
  • Must be familiar with Office packages especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of other scripting languages would be a benefit, including HTML, XML, Javascript
  • Knowledge of Macros and VBA for Word and Excel would be a benefit

Trainee Solicitor

We are looking for a Trainee Solicitor to assist in the provision of legal services and the giving of legal advice to clients of the firm, through the undertaking of a variety of technical and administrative tasks as directed and under close supervision and finally to complete the relevant training requirements as stipulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake an appropriate caseload of straight forward matters within various legal areas, under close supervision
  • Assist with the preparation of documents
  • Attend straightforward court appointments
  • To undertake legal research and report findings to relevant team members
  • To establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients
  • To undertake all related administrative tasks in accordance with company procedures
  • To communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a clear and accessible manner
  • To ensure the confidentiality of the firm’s and client’s documentation and information
  • To assist in marketing and networking activities whether on a firm-wide, departmental or office basis

Key Requirements

  • At least a 2:1 in a relevant degree      
  • Successful completion of the Legal Practice Course with distinction or commendation

  • Awareness of topical legal issues

Account Manager x 3 - Collections

We are looking for an Account Manager to join the Collections Team on a full time basis. To manage your own case load within the Collections Team, working within Company procedures and guidelines, to meet or exceed company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Prioritise daily work load, ensuring client related issues are dealt with efficient and effectively within SLA timescales.
  • Deal with clients complaints efficiently, referring them in accordance with company procedure.
  • Hold client meetings on a regular basis in order to build and manage client relationships.
  • Client meetings need to discuss performance and obtain feedback with prompt action of any matters and issues arising
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines ensuring targets and monthly target profit income is achieved.
