Q. What is conveyancing?
A. Conveyancing is the legal term given to the transfer of ownership of property from the buyer to the seller. Whether you are a buyer or seller, you will need to instruct a solicitor to handle this complex process.

Q. What does a conveyancer do?
A. A conveyancer's job is to take care of all legal aspects of moving house, including:
•  Local authority search
•  Land charges search
•  Land registration
•  Stamp duty land tax
•  Home information packs

Q. How long will it take for my sale or purchase to go through?
A. This does depend on many variables. Speak to Tony or Madelaine for further guidance

Q. What documents does a solicitor need when I sell my house?

A. We are able to download instantly title information from the Land Registry and therefore it is not strictly necessary to have possession of what people tend to regard as their “title deeds”. You will however have to complete some property information forms which we will send to you in advance of the contract being issued.
