Our residential property team offers an efficient but caring service to those seeking to buy or sell a property. It is our aim to make the move as smooth and trouble free as possible.

We explain the procedures and the likely timetable for your move, what documents are necessary, what they mean and when you will be required to sign documents and make payment.

On your behalf we will carry out all the relevant legal searches and enquiries about the property, investigate the title and, where necessary, negotiate amendments to the contract and other documents.

At the outset we can advise you of the likely costs including our charges and other payments (disbursements) that you may have to budget for. The charges are, however, small when weighed against the peace of mind that a smooth move can give you. Our costs estimate is transparent because we will itemise the costs and disbursements which you will incur. You will not therefore be surprised or disappointed with any “hidden extras”. We do not for example charge “extra” for acting for your mortgage company.

We will communicate with you by email, telephone or letter or where applicable a combination of all three. The feedback from many of our clients is that the one thing which impresses them about us is that they are able to so easily communicate with us. As a result our clients instruct us time and time again.
