Q. I fell over a cable at work and twisted my ankle. Is it serious enough to make a claim?
A. Generally we would say that if your injury is minor and lasts for less than six weeks it may not be worth bringing a claim. If you are unsure however you can contact us and we will be happy to advise further.

Q. My accident happened at work. If I claim against my employers, can they dismiss me?
A. Your employer cannot dismiss you for making a compensation claim. Your employers are legally bound to take out insurance against employee accidents and so your employer's insurance company will pay any compensation you are awarded, not your employer.
