For constant support when dealing with employees, companies are invited to join the J&P HR Solutions scheme.  This is a package whereby employers pay an annual fee and benefit from pro-active legal advice from an employment specialist on ongoing basis.

This package is available to all employers regardless of the number of employees and is a practical and economic solution for those businesses that require ongoing employment law advice.

Our J&P HR Solutions packages are tailored to the size and needs of your business and have been designed to give a fixed cost, ‘anxiety free’ solution to the worries of the increasing amount of employment law litigation facing all employers.

WHAT DOES THE SCHEME INCLUDE?

- A telephone help line to our employment specialist. This is an invaluable tool you will have at your disposal. You can discuss or seek advice on any employment related issue. Each call you make will be logged on to our system for future reference.

- Up-to-date documentation. We have a library of employment related documents that you can request from our specialists. These documents range from contracts of employment for new staff to letters and check lists for disciplinary hearings and grievances. Our library of documents is updated when necessary in accordance with changes in the law. We can either forward you the documents upon your request by fax, post or email, whichever is more convenient for you.

- Start up contract audit. This will enable our solicitor to review your contracts of employment for all staff at the commencement of your membership so as to be familiar with your staff and the needs of your business. Furthermore, should your contracts be out of date in terms of the law, we will point you in the right direction by providing you with up-to-date terms and conditions or should the circumstances dictate a new contract itself.

- Seasonal newsletter. You will receive our quarterly commercial newsletter which provide updates on new developments in the law and any interesting cases that you should be made aware of.

- Access to seminars. From time to time Judge & Priestley holds seminars to advise our clients about new regulations and the do’s and don’ts in certain situations. As a scheme member you may attend such forums which will allow you to ask questions that are specific to your business.

- Full indemnity insurance. The insurance provides cover for professional fees incurred by the member in defending a claim brought against them by an employee in an Employment Tribunal and cover for any awards of compensation which is granted in favour of the employee. The insurance will offer you up to £100,000 of cover for any one claim and £1,000,000 in the aggregate for any one period of membership of our scheme.
