Q. I sought professional advice which I have followed but now believe that I have suffered losses as a result of what I believe was negligent advice. Do I have a claim?
A. In certain circumstances you may have a claim. It is important to review the facts and circumstances of each case to consider whether there has been a breach of duty that has caused the loss in question. The Civil Procedure Rules provide for a Pre-Action Protocol to deal with such claims and identify the issues in dispute and promote an early settlement where appropriate.
