Anne was born in Bromley and for the greater part of her education and professional life has remained in the area. Prior to being admitted in 1979 her training was undertaken in  Lincoln's Inn where she initially ran a department acting for lenders repossession properties. Feeling somewhat uncomfortable with that procedure she went into domestic and commercial conveyancing and ultimately social housing in which she has happily remained for over 25 years. She is an active member of the Bromley and District Law Society and took the position of President in 1989. Anne is recognised as a leading individual in her field within the Chambers Directory.
